Walmart has millions of customers, and we want to make their experience better every day. We are building out our financial services product team with a strong focus on consumer strategy and experience. Our Financial Services products touch millions of people daily, including Walmart Pay, check cashing, Affirm, Capital One and so much more.
Walmart is building out B2B2C enterprise benefit program platform group. The opportunity is to lead the roadmap and execution plan for our directed spend platform.
You will be responsible for building the roadmap for digital and in-store to help our sponsor clients (i.e. health insurance companies) and customers (I.e. their subscription members) see the value in enabling their promotions (i.e. Medicare Advantage Plan's promotions) on Walmart platform. This product drives significant revenue for our overall retail sales business and we want to grow it at a faster rate.
You will be responsible for executing the current roadmap and defining the next version of how we should grow this area. You will partner with business, marketing, design and engineering to figure out what is working and how we can improve it in the short term with A/B testing while setting up a strategic growth roadmap that will increase the revenues by millions of dollars.
The Staff Product Manager role is a combination of strategic thinking and daily execution. Your ability to articulate a clear plan and align your partners will be a big part of your success.
What You'll Do...
Define E2E experience flow for our end users and system interaction/flow for money movement
Covert high level business requirements into actionable requirements including API specifications and business logic
Write acceptance criteria and test cases for all dependency systems to follow during integration and E2E tests
Drive execution throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to launch.
Define future product strategy and roadmap.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a platform product manager with microservices and APIs
Strong technical and product knowledge to drive detailed requirements with cross-functional engineering/business/product/program teams
Strong technical and architectural knowledge to identify system dependency and influence engineering deliverable decisions
Deep experience in agile software development lifecycle and working with scrum teams
Ability to draw insights from data and strong analytical skills to have prioritization discussions
