About the Role

As a Staff Quality Engineer for Project Diamond, your focus will be driving and developing Project Diamond Quality Assurance Program. You will partner with developers, data scientists, product, engineering, store operations and legal teams to create an industry leading quality framework. You will need to be a
self-starter with bias for action and excellent communication skills. Together, we will pioneer technologies that
reinvent the customer and associate experience, new ways of working, and new ways of shopping.

What you'll do

• Build Project Diamond’s end to end Quality Platform from the ground up.
• Develop and implement testing efforts, including testing strategy, resourcing, timelines, logging.
• Develop inspection and reporting methods to analyze product, hardware, and software quality.
• Working closely with product management and development to identify and document automated and manual, functional and non-functional test cases that will need to be executed during all stages of the SDLC.
• Log application defects, support debugging efforts, and retest defect corrective actions.
• Perform system-level regression testing to identify defects and report on testing results.
• Analyze technical requirements and create written test cases. Develop test cases for automation for UI, API, and App functionality.
• Prepare quality reports and system documentation.
• Collaborate among cross-functional teams on end-to-end testing and process improvements.
• Ensure products adhere to company, security, and industry quality standards.
• Independently troubleshoot business, development, and production issues.
• Brainstorm ideas to create solutions for identified problems.
• Document results and findings after inspections are carried out.
• Implement processes to ensure conformity and accuracy in the production process.

What You’ll Need

• A BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience, an advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 5+ years of experience related to testing.
• Automation developing/testing experience is preferred.
• Strong experience with software test automation tool(s) like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Cucumber, Robot Framework.
• Understand test processes and methodologies, such as designing test case, documenting failure scenarios, and isolating problems.
• Understand app, web, network and security model, concepts, and workflow.
• Experience in development using script programming language, Python is preferred.
• Understand at least one testing framework, such as Pytest,  Appium, Katalon, Espresso, Selendroid, Selenium, Robotium, or any others.
• Understand test tools and test concepts, such as Restful API, Selenium, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker or others.
• Has ambition and vigor to add value to a rapidly growing development team.
