Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Position Overview

• Scope and integrate Transportation functions Supply Chain End to End (E2E) and stand up the Omni-Data & Analytics Strategy (enabling $1.5B in benefit over the next 5 years)
• Synthesize the strategy, prioritize, and sequence programs of work to develop a fully integrated, Omni-Transportation roadmap
• Centralized Transportation ownership providing dynamic tension and business advocacy across product, tech and SCA
• Ensure seamless transitions from legacy systems to best in class transportation products
• Transition and innovative reporting and analytics solutions from backward to forward looking (predictive, prescriptive, etc.)
• Acts as a business advisor and data subject matter expert to transform data elements into innovative, actionable, tools and solutions

Key Responsibilities

• Expand team scope by migrating to an Omni-Trans Business Intelligence team Work horizontally to define and integrate eComm and Global
• Develop and design a world class Omni-Trans Command Center visualization strategy aimed at delivering perfect service and cost; unlocking $500M in benefit over the next 5 years while driving service levels over 98%
• Deploy reporting solutions, along with a suite of diagnostic tools, to enable the E2E Transportation Daily Management System; unlocking $200M in productivity benefit over the next 5 years
• Develop and steer a data holistic strategy that will integrate fragmented data elements (Fleet, 3rd Party, Store, Supplier, DC, etc.) into the Supply Chain Data Lake with real-time data capability and predictive insights
• Steer product and tech as we upgrade or transition technology Ensure data continuity and seamless reporting through the transitions while unlocking new capabilities
• Support the business with Rapid Response, continuous improvement, services Provide a fast lane to needed data / reporting over and above committed strategic objectives

Expertise

• Tech / Analytics consulting, data architecture, engineering, UI/UX, analytics experience
• Proven track record of developing a strategy and delivering a roadmap to deliver it on-time and on-budget
• Experience influencing areas with no direct leadership control Credible, knowledgeable, and confident
• Proven track record building high performance teams Comes with a network of talent
• Organized ability to convert chaos into order; steer the team with clear goals and objectives
• Ability to communicate tech concepts to both product development teams and business stakeholders

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 6 years' experience in software engineering or related field. Option 2: 8 years' experience in software engineering or related field. Option 3: Master's degree in Computer Science and 4 years' experience in software engineering or related field.
5 years' experience in data engineering, database engineering, business intelligence, or business analytics.
2 years' supervisory experience.
