What you'll do...

Distinguished Product Manager, Global Platform

As part of the Global Technology Platform Program Management and Customer Engagement organization, this role will be a crucial for providing end to end solutions to customers with our platform services/products. This leader will define the solutions by working collaboratively with product management and engineering teams to ensure meeting customer’s business needs.

You’ll sweep us off our feet if:

• You think and act strategically; you create strategies for own organization that align with the company’s strategies and lead to the achievement of business priorities
• You make sound judgments by using objective financial and business analyses to evaluate the returns and risks of business choices
• You optimize execution and results, by using the advantage of company size, internal and external resources, and talent to achieve success.
• You have a healthy balance of business and technical acumen and can apply these in real-world activities
• You inspire commitment by developing and communicating logical, convincing justifications, including lessons learned
• You develop talent and replacement plans for own organization that increases effectiveness, builds diversity, and enhances bench strength
• You build and sustain trusting, collaborative relationships and alliances across functional, organizational, and geographical boundaries to achieve goals

You’ll make an impact by:

• Driving strategic alignment – evaluate all business requirements and come out with solutions that aligned to platform strategies 
• Developing platform solutions – work with cross functional teams on developing platform services/products that fulfill customers’ needs
• Driving platform adoption – engage with customers to drive go to market activities for adoption
• Building strategic relationships - manage numerous stakeholders, anticipate their needs, and gain alignment for strategies from executive level stakeholders
• Articulating platform success – present platform success to executives with strong communication skills (oral, verbal and listening) as well as the ability to influence key decision makers and understand their points of view 
• Operating with excellence – Set an example in managing to KPIs, delivering excellence, presenting at all levels, and developing yourself and others.

The Global Technology Platform Program Management Team focuses on the execution of strategic initiatives in Global Technology Platform organization with alignment to Walmart Global Technology vision and direction. The team owns the execution rhythm to deliver high quality outcomes based on product roadmaps. The team also drives for organization transformation with Agile methodology.

Minimum Qualifications...

As permitted by applicable law, provide evidence of full vaccination as defined by CDC guidelines OR secure approval of medical or religious accommodation for the vaccination mandate., Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 6 years’ experience in product management or related field OR 8 years’ experience in product management or related field.
