Position Summary...

What you'll do...
Provides on-call security and operational support for the production web environment and associated locations by working with security technologies(for example, intrusion detection systems (IDS), encryption technologies); and resolving business and customer support issues.Monitors and administers network security by serving as a primary point of interface with Site Operations and the IT security organization; monitoringincidents and threats; and working with other engineering teams to ensure that security requirements are satisfied for all projects.Improves the security posture of Walmart-owned sites by conducting vulnerability assessments and following-up on the action items generated;evaluating business and technical security requirements; driving the selection, prototyping and implementation of applications and technical solutions;and effectively communicating inherent security risks to non-technical business owners.Supports governance and compliance audits relative to payment card industry (PCI) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) by working with cross-functionalteams; and conducting interviews and gathering documentation regarding site security.Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice andguidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; andbuilding commitment for perspectives and rationales.Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying businessneeds; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing onimprovement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity byincorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting otherswith how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.
