Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Bonobos is looking for an Associate Designer of Print and CAD who can flex their creativity and contribute to our famous prints.

Founded on a better-fitting pair of pants and the best-in-class customer service around, Bonobos is one of the fastest growing digital apparel companies. As an Associate Designer, you'll be working with all facets of the design development process alongside the fun and highly talented Design team. You will play an instrumental role in helping to shape our signature prints offerings for each season.

Reporting to the Senior Associate of Print, Pattern, and Color, you will help out in the print selection and creation process.  You will have the opportunity to work with the Design team to influence print offerings seasonally.  We have an all-hands-on-deck mentality where the sharing of ideas is encouraged. What you'll do...

• Contribute to the design process of print and color
• Stay up to date with menswear trends for print and pattern
• Work in design programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop and NedGraphics to prepare prints for use
• Create colorways, make any adjustments for prints and patterns
• Create production-ready files to be sent out to external vendors
• Organize hard copies of artwork and color supplies
• Create signature artwork for custom prints
• Work collaboratively with the Design team to create the most compelling print story for each season
• Keep open communication with production team to maintain a smooth development process
• Present new ideas for prints and graphics to the team
• Maintain a color and print library/archive with the help of assistant
• Maintain organized print and graphic boards for easy reference and use for designers

You...

• Have 2+ years of experience in design related field
• Have strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills
• Experience in a CAD program, such as NedGraphics a plus
• Positive mindset and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Able to be adaptable and flexible with priorities of workflow
• Have the ability to take ownership and work with manager
• Open to manage their own direct report
• Able to work collaboratively with teammates

Minimum Qualifications...

Associate's degree in Drafting, Design, Architecture, Engineering, or related field OR 2 years’ experience in retail store design, retail store operations, or related field.
1 year’s experience as a CAD Specialist.
