What you'll do...

To be able to carry out thefollowing responsibilities: Gather data, information and content in a digital environment and interprets appropriately. Negotiation: Possess knowledge of: Negotiation techniques, tactics, tools, systems, and processes; methods to create WIN-WIN opportunities forpartners and organization; relationship and stakeholder management techniques; communication practices. To be able to carry out the followingresponsibilities: Prepare and compile relevant information and data for use in negotiations. Understand negotiating position, key drivers/levers, anddesired outcomes. Make decisions based on facts; weigh up the pros and cons; and be able to explain the reasoning behind decisions. Effectivelyengage at all levels in well thought out conversation that takes a position.
Vendor Management: Possess Knowledge of: Vendor policies; vendor request processes; vendor quality standards. To be able to carry out thefollowing responsibilities: Explains the organizational process for soliciting and selecting vendors; identifies efficient means of monitoring andmeasuring vendor performance; defines common terms and conditions of agreements with vendors; describes programs useful for improving vendorservices.
Task Delegation: Possess knowledge of: Task delegation techniques; progress monitoring tools and processes. To be able to carry out the followingresponsibilities: Identifies the responsibilities of each party in a delegated activity; provides examples of appropriately delegated responsibilities;identifies common challenges and obstacles to delegation; describes the need for setting priorities and establishing milestones as part of delegationresponsibilities.
Custodial Activities: Possess Knowledge of: Operational requirements of floor-cleaning equipment, tools, machines, and company-approvedchemicals used to perform routine cleaning procedures. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Uses cleaning equipment, agents, andtechniques (for example, mops, vacuum cleaners, pesticides) to clean dirt, sterilize supplies, and dispose waste in assigned areas; performs routinecleaning disinfecting tasks; participates in deep cleaning and sanitation projects (for example, quarterly cleaning schedules); follows checklists ofcleanliness standards and requirements in compliance with applicable environment codes and regulations; reports shortages or failures of custodialfacilities and materials to senior staff for purchase or repair needs.
Schematics and Technical Drawings: Possess Knowledge of: common drafting tools, procedures, and processes; blueprints; technical drawingspecifications. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Interprets functional and technical blueprints; participates in structuring technicalcomponents; maintains and updates technical drawings and specifications throughout the equipment maintenance process; translates process flowdiagrams and equipment technical drawings; inspects critical equipment to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and designs; performsroutine installation or maintenance tasks at sites by following technical drawings and specifications.
Electrical Systems and Controls: Possess Knowledge of: Wiring schematics; electrical inspection procedures; electrician tools; safety codes andregulations. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Participates in projects that modify existing electrical systems, equipment, andcomponents; assists in drawing circuit diagrams and defining electrical installation specifications; operates Programmable Logic Controllers in order tocommunicate, monitor, and control automated processes (for example, assembly lines, machine functions, robotic devices); performs the basicdesign, installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems, equipment, and components; assesses standard electrician tools; measures
devices, power tools, and testing equipment (for example, oscilloscopes, ammeters, test lamps); performs specific electrical service tasks; helpsinstall, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures; assists with the installation of emergency services (for example, fire alarms,lighting, batteries, standby power requirements, generators).
Operational Excellence: Possess knowledge of: regulatory and reporting requirements; Standard Operating Procedure documentation; key functionalroles within assigned department. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Assesses situations based on the goals and operating issuesof assigned department; seeks guidance when assigned goals conflict with departmental goals or the overall strategy; documents regulatory andreporting requirements; understands the importance of and implementation of One Best Way and SOP information; identifies safety hazards andanomalies during the operations processes and reports to an immediate supervisor; follows regulatory processes and procedures for the department;seeks and analyzes situations or conditions with potential regulatory implications.

Minimum Qualifications...

2 years’ experience repairing or maintaining optical, pharmaceutical, mechanical, or electrical equipment in an industrial setting.
1 year’s experience working with blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
1 year’s experience in construction, industrial, production or manufacturing environment.
Additional certifications may be required based on State laws or requirements.
