In the role of Manager II, Supply Chain Management, based in Bentonville, Arkansas, you will report to the Senior Manager II, Supply Chain Management and work closely with stakeholders in a variety of areas, including but not limited to: Transportation/Logistics, Operations, Optimization, Data Science, and Procurement.

What you’ll do…

  • Manage supply chain processes and ensure seamless merchandise flow through our perishable distribution network
  • Analyze internal transportation load planning procedures and leverage data to improve these processes
  • Study the external transportation environment/economics to determine optimal mix and costing decisions
  • Perform robust root cause analysis to uncover and address gaps in process logic and SOP’s
  • Leverage analytical tools and data visualization to influence decisions
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates
  • Effectively communicate through written and verbal channels
  • Understand and interpret data analytics to make informed decisions, develop recommendations, and propose solutions that optimize cost and service KPI’s
  • Collaborate with and influence cross-functional partners to improve overall operations and execution
  • Manage supply chain flow process improvement efforts by contributing to the design, development, and delivery of new ways of working between supply chain stakeholders
  • Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity

What you’ll bring…

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering or related field and 2 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area. 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Office.
