What you'll do...
Drives the talent acquisition strategy for business units by developing recruiting strategies in alignment with the business unit strategy; communicating recruiting strategies with the business unit leaders; gathering feedback from business unit leadership on performance and recruiting goals; ensuring customer service is provided to business units ; and guiding recruiters and hiring managers through any transformational changes in recruiting processes and applicant tracking systems.Participates in business unit workforce planning and talent review activities by attending business unit talent review meetings to understand talent gaps, potential attrition, and high potential talent in business units; incorporating data from talent review meetings into business unit recruiting strategy and initiatives; reviewing workforce planning data with divisions when planning recruiting initiatives or events; utilizing workforce planning and diversity representation data to align and organize recruiters' sourcing efforts; leveraging workforce planning to provide proactive building of talent pipelines ; and utilizing access to talent review to understand internal talent for promotion or exportation to other business areas.Develops and implements cost-effective recruiting strategies tied to functional area objectives by establishing and maintaining partnerships with functional leaders and hiring managers; setting and implementing functional recruiting objectives and strategic intent ; forecasting current and future recruitment needs; establishing and maintaining service level standards ; advising, educating, and consulting with hiring managers on recruiting process, strategy, and market conditions; applying creative solutions in solving challenging recruitment issues; and engaging and managing external vendors.Manages multiple strategic projects supporting the recruiting process by developing and maintaining project schedule and scope; identifying and tracking milestones; managing full-cycle recruiting and selection processes for positions within assigned functional area; collaborating with partners to identify ideal candidate skills and experience needed; sourcing a diverse candidate pool using various methods ; providing project status reports to stakeholders ; ensuring management support of and participation in projects; creating solutions or contingency plans; and escalating project-related issues to senior management.Monitors the effectiveness of recruitment programs by analyzing and communicating hiring results; collecting feedback and implementing initiatives to improve program effectiveness; analyzing client and candidate satisfaction rates; and researching and benchmarking industry best practices to refine program strategies. Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.
