About the Team

As a member of the Global Tech Indirect Procurement Technology team, you'll be responsible for learning and practicing leadership skills within a strong collaborative environment, managing highly complex and large projects that are transforming Walmart's Indirect Procurement. These projects directly impact how our store and home office associates procure, receive, and pay for Goods Not for Resale. You'll operate as a trusted advisor as it relates to efficiencies and best practices. As a member of the team, you'll be able to say that you work for the world's largest retailer and contribute to the deployment of best-in-class technologies that transform our back office.

Job Description

As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you will have day-to-day responsibility for driving deployment of complex technical programs around the world. This includes planning project budget and resources, project oversight, and leading and coordinating large diverse teams. You'll manage the progress of the project and adapt as risks and issues arise. Your role will require clear communication of upcoming milestones and overall status to a large group of stakeholders. Additional responsibilities include evaluating project performance for efficiency and effectiveness.

• BeingResponsible for creating and consolidating program timeline and communicating overallprogram healthin a way that all levels of the organization can consume.
• Ensuring each team understands the overall project objectives and timeline and how their deliverables impact the overall program.

• Workingcollaboratively with cross-functional peers and senior leaders/stakeholders to resolve program issues, drive mitigationplans, and update and educate Policies.

• Interacting, negotiating, and influencingdecisions across multiple tracks and executive leadership.

• Promotingand supportingcompany policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong experience with Agile Project Management
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Skilled in Data-driven, objective analysis and recommendations
• Ability to manage large, complex projects in an Agile environment
• Comfortable presenting to and persuading at the Director andVice-Presidentiallevel
• Comfortable in a fast paced, growing environment
• Comfortable with ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Direct expertise in Indirect Procurement Process / Tools (SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Concur)
