As part of the Walmart Information Security Business Communication & Enablement Portfolio Team, this role will be an enabler of our vision to be a best-in-class Technical Portfolio Team that operates with speed and discipline and support our mission to strategically drive security value by planning, communicating and enabling delivery of simplified Information Security solutions & services through collaboration with our partners.

You’ll make an impact by: 

• Strong leadership skills, great verbal and written communication skills and can influence across multiple organizations,

• Demonstrating sense of urgency and ability to understand when and to whom to escalate.

• Being able to work effectively both on teams as well as be self-motivated, task oriented and organized

• Having advanced knowledge of Agile principles including the SCRUM methodology and ability to apply them in day to day delivery.

• Governing a team of Technical Project Managers responsible for the delivery of multiple medium to high complexity projects across multiple programs, cross-functional teams working on projects with multiple external dependencies and various methodologies.

• Having a passion to support, guide, grow and develop the best in class Technical Project and Program Managers focused on innovative ways of working while delivering on innovative and complex Cyber Security solutions.

Essential Functions:

• People Development: Demonstrates strong leadership qualities and applies managing up principles.
• Ability to operate at the executive level (strong communicator, negotiator).
• Strong at establishing partnerships across horizontals/verticals.
• Strong at establishing strategies and driving delivery in accordance with a plan.
• Strong understanding of portfolio operations and project methodologies.
• Solid leadership skills (influence, coaching, gaining respect, indirect authority, hold others accountable to plans, strategic communicator).
• Experience supporting multiple functional teams as well as guiding 1 to 5 Technical Program Managers.
• Experience leading Technical Programs within a Technical Organization, preferably in Information Security or Platform teams.
• Experience or knowledge of managing projects/programs focused on Vulnerability management to include identification and remediation of vulnerabilities.
• Creativity in solving hard long-term problems and operating well under pressure.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.

You’ll sweep us off our feet if…  

• Have Intermediate Cyber Security knowledge and acquired industry level certifications (Security+, SANS301, SANS401, CISA, CASP, CISSP, etc.)
• Have acquired Agile/Project Management certifications (CSM, CSPO, PMP, CAPM, CompTIA Project +, CPMP, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications 

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Information Systems and 6+ years or 10+ years of relevant work experience in technical program/project management
