What you'll do...

Program Manager I, eComm

Looking for a new role that will be both challenging and rewarding, then continue reading to see if this position grabs your interests. The Program Manager I, eComm role will be a key contributor to growing our US Marketplace Business.

You’ll sweep us off our feet if:

  • Prior experience developing and leading programs, specifically drivers of growth, working cross-functionally with product and analytics teams

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Strategize and identify opportunities and drive programs that minimize losses by meeting and exceeding customer and seller expectations of the online marketplace experience

  • Launch & scale programs. Track, communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders and teams across Walmart Marketplace and the company at large (Analytics, Supply Chain, Account Management, Product teams, etc.)

  • Monitor execution progress and ensure deliverable quality (e.g., coordinating meetings, tracking budget, following up on action items) for projects/programs within a low-to-moderately complex category or business area

  • Interpret and manage scope creep for projects/programs within a low-to-moderately complex category or business area.

  • Resolve conflicts and elevate more complex conflicts

  • Manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues and devise contingency and communication plans for projects/programs within a low-to-moderately complex category or business area

  • Implement established risk mitigation plans for low-to-moderately complex projects with internal dependencies and make adjustments, as needed

  • Ensure project teams understand project risk and mitigation plans for projects/programs within a low-to moderately complex category or business area

  • Implement change approach, strategy and plan for projects/programs within a low-to-moderately complex category or business area

  • Lead and organize cross-functional and/or category team and stakeholder meetings and communicates with stakeholders as needed

  • Develop and execute end-to-end programs focused on driving product adoption and seller services tool development

  • Measure, track and analyze results, report progress, and optimize programs continuously.

  • Drive informed decision-making and ensures resolution of critical issues by partnering with senior leaders to identify goals, success criteria, assumptions, risks, and known issues within the business

  • Creating communication strategy and content; educating sponsors, stakeholders, and executive leadership on program requirements; and developing and implementing a program management life cycle

  • Analyze and interpret information for one or more initiative work streams by using various analytical methodologies

  • Developing solutions within business areas that reduce cost and meet business goals; prioritizing assignments; ensuring accuracy of business data; recommending program changes to stakeholders based on data; and persuading cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement changes

  • Driving the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning

  • Building strong and trusting relationships with team members and business partners; working collaboratively and cross-functionally to achieve objectives; and communicating with energy and positivity to motivate, influence, and inspire commitment and action

  • Adopting a holistic perspective that considers data, analytics, customer insights, and different parts of the business when making plans and shaping the team’s strategy

  • Delivering expected business results while putting the customer first and consistently applying an omni-merchant mindset and the EDLP and EDLC business models to all plans

  • Seeking and implementing continuous improvements and encourages the team to leverage new digital tools and ways of working

  • Demonstrating curiosity and a growth mindset; fostering an environment that supports learning, innovation, and intelligent risk-taking; and exhibits resilience in the face of setbacks

  • Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open-Door Policy
