Senior UX Designer, Walmart International Tech
About the Position
Walmart International Tech UX team is looking for a Senior Design to join the team to work on projects across multiple platforms, websites, and associate-facing software. The role will partner with cross-functional partnerships across Product, and Engineering to deliver and execute the design works that bring delight to our users on various platforms. This position will apply deep UX knowledge for user experience design including research, conceptual design, prototyping, testing to our core shopping experience to deeply empathize with the customer.
Establish and communicate effective design processes through a strong understanding of user-centered design techniques coupled with practical experience in how a design team should collaborate cross-functionally for maximum effectiveness delivering solutions. Create interaction flows, wireframes, visual, interactive prototypes, and detailed design specifications. Apply user-centered approach to requirements and interdependencies to develop engaging interfaces Using strong design techniques like storyboards and sketching to communicate interaction design concepts. Make a real impact at scale through new product launches and interface improvements that effect billions of our customers everyday Apply and further develop your experience in developing new approaches to design based on industry best practices, including agile and lean product development methodologies Create interaction flows, wireframes, visual, interactive prototypes, and detailed design specifications. Participate in the design review and provide constructive feedback to the team 50% of the self-directive projects and 50% directed projects from the management
Skills and Knowledge
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years designing for platforms experience, enterprise tool experience preferred A strong UX/UX design portfolio that demonstrate your design skill and knowledge of user experience mapping the customer needs Excellent knowledge of latest mobile and web UX/UI guidelines, UX principles, and industry trends Proficiency in common design tools, such as Sketch, Adobe CC, InVision, Zeplin, Figma etc. Experience partnering with cross-functional teams in launching new products and improvements to existing features. Experience creating web and mobile UI/UX with customer-centric solutions with the design system and accessibility guidelines Ability to manage your time and deadlines, as well as the ability to adapt to the ever-changing priorities of the eCommerce business Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly present your work Convey complex information and address ambiguity Readily give and receive constructive feedback.

1 year experience designing front-end user experience solutions for mobile applications on major smartphone platforms (for example, Android, iOS).
