As a Sr Manager I on the Design Research team you represent the perspective of our associates to help understand their needs, motivations, and pain points to validate opportunity-based intersection between business strategy, user needs and competitive landscape. Partnering with design, product, and technology leaders, you help transform the omni-channel associate digital experiences. You will oversee a team of researchers and collaborate with partners to recommend generative and evaluative methods to produce high caliber research. You model best practices using data and metrics to ensure team creates a robust insight-driven solutions. A holistic design thinker, you love solving ambiguous challenges and bringing together people from all levels and functions, not just at your own domain, to envision end-to-end experiences.
About the Team
We’re on a mission to create, advocate, and define excellence in the user experience to enhance the lives of the 2.3 million Walmart associates. We build compelling product experiences and services to enrich the entire journey of our associates, whether they are in our home office, stores, and throughout the supply chain. We lead design with research. Understanding the needs of our associates comes first.
