Position Summary...

What you'll do...

The Senior Manager, Communications is a strategic thinker and communicator. They can work cross-functionally and independently. They focus on supporting stores by ensuring communication effectively and efficiently flows from the Home Office to the field. The role will have you thinking on your feet every day, pivoting and multi-tasking fluidly.

The role will include:

  • Consulting with internal businesses to help achieve their strategic goals
  • Prioritizing and executing workstreams within Operations Support, Merchandising and Digital
  • Developing and executing comprehensive communication plans for the implementation of processes and programs from end to end
  • Providing insight and advising on store speak, readability and communication channels
  • Supporting the development of long-range plans and project timelines
  • Assisting senior management to identify and influence stakeholders by providing communication solutions and best practices from previous launches
  • Coordinating messaging approval process through business owner, Ops Support and Legal department
  • Serving as primary contact for key internal business partners
  • Identifying emerging digital and social media technologies to share with leadership
  • Implementing message frameworks, writing, editing, and approving communications materials
  • Ensuring consistency in messaging
  • Developing, maintaining, and leveraging relationships
  • Developing and executing multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs
  • Removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance
  • Providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance; accordingly, developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
  • Ensuring business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency
  • Supporting a team-based work environment
  • Promoting and supporting company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity and utilizes and supports the Open Door Policy.
