What You’ll Do

• Develop highly scalable services and solve complex software systems problems by leveraging state-of-the-art technology

• Drive projects of high visibility across the organization.

• Participates in medium- to large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects by reviewing project requirements; translating requirements into technical solutions; gathering requested information (for example, design documents, product requirement); writing and developing code; conducting unit testing; communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders; collaborating with cross functional teams; troubleshooting open issues and bug-fixes; enhancing design to prevent re-occurrences of defects; ensuring on-time delivery.

• Understand production operation and add value by leading the way for the team

What You’ll Bring: 

• 2 years' experience people management skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 7-10 years or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

• 5-10 years of experience building scalable applications

• Experience in RESTful Services, Java, Scala, Spring Boot Framework, RDBMS, NoSql

• Experience leading teams and implementing technology globally

• Providing cross-functional leadership:  Working cross-functionally with different stakeholders and business teams to deliver solutions across the globe

• Experience in development of scalable cloud native microservices

• Experience with Cloud Technologies like Azure and GCP

• Experience with Designing and building APIs

• Experience with event driven architecture

Even Better if You Have:

• Designed, built, and maintained APIs, services of highly scalable platforms.

• Worked extensively with Kafka or other high volume-low latency messaging infrastructure

• Experience of big data technologies (i.e. Spark/Kafka/Cassandra/Hadoop/Hive/Elasticsearch)

• Extensive knowledge of open-source libraries, design patterns and micro-service architecture. Familiarity with CI/CD and unit testing

• Experience in production system operations (logging, telemetry, alerting etc.)

• The keen eyes for detail and desire to learn, win, collaborate, and relish a challenge.

As a member of the of the Engineering group, you’ll be responsible for evaluating large amounts of data as part of the ongoing effort to optimize processes and delivery protocols. You’ll operate as a trusted advisor as it relates to efficiencies and best practices.
