What you'll do...
This position is responsible for supporting the operation of service lines, both current (which may include but is not limited to primary care, dental, and optometry) and future, across multiple health facility locations. This role will need to have experience in using equipment related to each service line, such as dental autoclaves, crown/bridge mills, ophthalmic phoropters, retinoscopes, vital signs equipment, and electrocardiographs as well as technology and processes used by various service lines.
This role serves as an operations coordinator. This individual will be the voice of the site (field) operations team at the home office, meeting with key stakeholders and teams to identify opportunities and form solutions that allow for business growth, both in the short-term and long-term. There will be traveling required to be in health centers to understand the site associate's perspective and also testing or piloting new playbooks or processes with the appropriate stakeholders. Additional meetings may occur in the Bentonville area for working/testing at our local facility or demo site. In addition to following up on sites already launched, there will be opportunities to visit sites during launch to ensure proper execution which also helps identify better ways to scale and support all locations at a national level. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.

Serves as the voice of the site operations teams at Home Office; coordinating with key stakeholders and teams at Home Office that support Walmart Health; influencing and communicating effectively and positively to build relationships; striving to make the lives easier for site operations teams to execute; and focusing on content, playbooks/role-specific materials, scaled implementation, simplification and optimization, user acceptance review, and other duties as assigned.
Leads policy and standard operation procedure development and coordination by understanding and identifying issues; directing internal communication strategies to ensure understanding of policies, standard operating procedures, and best practices; overseeing the development of policies, standard operating procedures, and best practices that meet regulations and industry standards; updating policies, standard operating procedures, and best practices to meet changing regulatory requirements and industry standards; collaborating with quality assurance to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations; and ensuring policy, standard operating procedures, and best practices are aligned with other areas in Health and Wellness and organizational strategy.
Leads best practices and sets expectations for roles across various service lines in Walmart Health Centers; strengthening and developing associates and partners; and helping individuals in these roles understand that as their service line and the business as a whole evolves so too will their roles.
Serves as business lead in meetings, such as technology or various stakeholder meetings, as needed; and being a consultant of various initiatives or projects, such as technology workstreams and practice management workstreams, as needed.
Manages execution of business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; assessing climate for change; developing and communicating business readiness strategies and plans; allocating resources; removing performance barriers and obstacles; developing contingency plans; and adjusting approach to ensure business and human objectives are met.
Supports business and market growthof service line practices in multiplecentersby assessing changing market needs and competitive market share; collaborating withcenters'management teams; developing action plans to achieve sales and marketing goals and initiatives; and ensuring the effectiveness of Walmart Health services and offerings.
Maintain relationships withapplicable service line partnersand associates to ensure Walmart Healthisa preferred employer by creating a culture focused on delivering quality health care; understanding the scope of health care professions and changes in health care; dedicating time to meet with professionals and discuss their business; affording associates and managers time for continuing education; and being responsive to the needs of health care professionals.
Coordinates with the relationship manager as the relationship manager sets up, owns, renews, recruits, etc for contracting with entities.
Coordinates support that will improve patient experience and business outcomes by observing health centers and working with the appropriate teams across home office to scale operations. Listens to field associates and prioritizes their requests back to the office and vice versa.
Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.

Leads and demonstrates the importance of appropriate operational execution of proper billing procedures, HIPAA compliance adherence and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for thearea of responsibility. Creates and maintains measures and improvement processes to mitigate identified compliance issues, ensures audit processes are utilized, and drives the reduction of compliance risks and issues.
Analyzes Markets Develops a business case for new solutions, products, and services and presents it to senior leadership to obtain needed support, financing, and resources. Identifies market opportunities that are consistent with the strategy of the business and takes appropriate action to address these opportunities. Establishes revenue and profit targets for solutions, products, and serviceson the basis ofmarket research.
