What you'll do...

EBS has made significant headway in building technologies and services that improve quality and drive business value.  We deliver significant digital and process transformation that is helping to improve associate experiences and bend the cost curve. 

This position will identify new areas of opportunity to further support our business partners and key stakeholders enabling them to focus on their core business initiatives.  This individual will assess existing business processes and help identify solutions to solve business problems. 

You’ll make an impact by: 

• Business Case Development

  • Articulate and present to various internal and external stakeholders benchmark service offerings and explains benefits and risks with each

  • Build business case under guidance for business transformations and partner with cross functional internal stakeholders to identify appropriate and relevant metrics and solutions

  • Communicate and present business case metrics and solutions to stakeholders for moderately complex transformations and explains value proposition

• Business Process Modeling

  • Understand broader business context and details involved in business processes and apply experience to build detailed process understanding for complex and large-scale projects

  • Discuss results of successful process transition interventions among diverse scenarios and provide advisory on applicability as required on current scenarios

  • Evaluate and simplify existing business processes by using process modelling techniques and identify gaps and redundancies across large and complex projects

  • Lead the transition of processes into EBS or to third-party providers by applying appropriate methodologies and frameworks to complex and large-scale projects

  • Review process performance and metrics and take decisions on final handovers to the concerned process owner going forward

• Project Management

  • Manage project(s) or multiple work streams (utilizing project evaluation tools, methods, and performance dashboards); owns discovery of project requirements through deep subject matter expertise, align on timelines, tasks schedule, resources and monitor status

  • Creates guidelines and methods for managing projects and ensures project partners follow proper procedures. oversees alignment on timelines, tasks schedule, resources utilization and monitor project progress

  • Assess complex changes and lead fact-based decisions in high-risk situations (for example: critical issues, timeline adjustments, unforeseen circumstances), ensuring all stakeholders are in alignment with project approach.

  • Lead the development of communication and change frameworks to drive alignment with business strategy and desired outcomes

• Understanding Business Context

  • Influences business stakeholder decision-making in the functional area of work

  • Translates business requirements into strategies, initiatives, and projects, aligns with business strategies and objectives, and drives the execution of deliverables

  • Demonstrates a deep expertise of multiple business units/ organizations being supported

  • Challenges business assumptions on topics related to assigned domain expertise

  • Develops new, organization-wide processes and ways of working in the functional area of work

  • Teaches and guide team members on best practices about new business insights

  • Proactively engages in the external community to build Walmart’s brand and learn more about industry practices

• Service Excellence

  • Participates in developing a variety of effective ways to deal with difficult and complex problems impacting large associate transactions across different systems.

  • Conduct and act on reviews of open service requests. Ensure teams maintain focus on value added services, communicate with stakeholders on quality-of-service measurements

  • Anticipates strategic and emerging service needs and consult with management on modifying business processes to enhance service delivery

  • Research trends and developments in service provision. Coach others on best practices and how to deliver excellent customer service in a variety of settings

• Vendor Management

  • Implement strategies to identify and develop new and emerging suppliers to close technical, cost or performance gaps

  • Anticipates strategic and emerging service needs and consult with management on modifying business processes to enhance service delivery

  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships through structured management processes and effectively engage with supplier account teams across multiple business lines

  • Leverage supplier relationships to manage risk, address issues, and to ensure contract requirements are being delivered

  • Manage Supplier change impact with an appropriate action plan

• Influence and Building Stakeholder Consensus

  • Lead discussions with varying viewpoints confidently   Influence diverse audiences using customized communication and appropriate frameworks

  • Leverage fact-based data, analytics and insights to build a cohesive narrative and present in a clear, concise and meaningful way

  • Demonstrate superior decision and coordination skills when faced with conflicting or ambiguous inputs

  • Become a trusted advisor to diverse stakeholders, influencing them to act on business matters

  • Provide respectful, effective, timely feedback and seek, internalize and utilize received feedback

• Ability to research, analyze, and recommend improvements to any organization's business processes to improve overall organization performance.

• Ensure to enhance quality as well as reduce waste in business process

• Ability to study operational and performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

• Develops project plans and assist in change management to impacted business units

• Quickly assess and gain knowledge of different business unit’s operations and core processes

• Savvy in methodologies of gathering requirements and modelling business process flows

• Detailed understanding of functionality needed for a role to complete a business task

• Gathers requirements and produces process flows and definition of new/ modified business processes

• Map business process requirements to existing or future technology applications
