Want to use your Procurement Skills to leverage world class travel suppliers to bring the best value back to Walmart? The Senior Manager II is a critical thought-leadership role that uses clever and strategic negotiating tactics to tell our story, while contacting the best value for the company's continued success. As a primary steward of our company, you'll engage with multiple global suppliers while working alongside a global operational forward-thinking team. Reporting to the Director of Sourcing, you will collaborate with your stakeholders in researching, building, and executing, Global Travel supplier strategies.
You'll sweep us off our feet if:
You're a storyteller, you have a grip on interpreting complex data
You know procurement
You're familiar with building effective RFP's, Stakeholder alignment & Sourcing Strategies
You have a great eye for detail and can articulate the specifics of quality
You're organized, disciplined, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously
You're a master at making complex subjects easily understood through visuals
You have high standards and can hold project contributors accountable
You're stimulated by challenges and are ready to engage at Fortune 1 scale
You'll make an impact by:
Interpreting Spend Analysis: The ability to read, analyze and tell the story from data and spend to build a TCO model.
Build Effective RFP's Modeling historic and real time market data to identify the right suppliers to support our company objectives.
**Engaging Stakeholders -**Identify and meet with both internal and external teams to drive value and deliver savings.
Building strategic Sourcing Strategies: Maximize relationships with new and existing vendors, understanding, and evaluating their products and capabilities and negotiating advantageous rates. Build internal partnerships and support our company goals.
Operating with excellence Set an example in managing to KPIs, delivering excellence, presenting at all levels, and developing yourself and others.
