Position Summary...
What you'll do...
The Global Procurement Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing processes for new and defined Supply Chain categories. This includes but is not limited to (contracting, negotiations, financial analysis, RFP creation/execution and Supplier research). The Global Procurement Manager coordinates, manages and oversees complex job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities while demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous improvement.
Develops financial planning models for Supply Chain sourcing that can be incorporated into the business management and RFP events; analyzing trends and developing predictive models; presenting insights on Supply Chain trends to leadership and strategic planning teams; developing recommendations for Supply Chain sourcing models and communicating them to leadership. Drafts and negotiates company and business specific agreements including Master Service Agreements and Statements of Work pertaining to various Supply Chain operations/ businesses. Understands and is able to articulate and negotiate rates/pricing associated to third party operations that support the Walmart Supply Chain business functions.

- Ability to motivate and course correct as required to support business objectives
- Proven cross-functional leadership and experience across end-to-end Supply Chain including Operations, 3PLs, Supply Chain Management, Quality, Procurement and Lean/6 Sigma
- Track record of how to build strategy and execute through negotiation objectives in total delivered costs, working capital management, customer service, quality, regulatory and safety compliance
- Ability to build effective partnerships between businesses, procurement, QA/regulatory, legal and other functional teams inside and outside of the organization
- Ability to translate business needs (including engineering) to Supply Chain requirements to ensure long range supply capabilities for current and new projects
- Strong problem solving capabilities (thinking out of the box)
- Knowledge of Supply Chain systems and functions that support transactions, bid events (Ariba, Coupa, etc) and provide visibility
- Appetite to learn and foster development of others
- Understanding of Supply Chain automation and various applications
