(USA) Senior Project Manager I - Content Delivery

Position Summary...

What you'll do...

In this role, you will serve as focal point for content delivery across a series of workstreams.

Your primary duty will be to establish, manage and standardize creative workflow processes supported through a Jira ticketing system (or similar project management tool like Airtable, Workfront, etc.). This includes planning and prioritizing all creative deliverables across multiple projects with designers, writers, strategy and publishing teams to deliver high-quality digital assets. You'll also partner on resource allocation and own the tasking of all assignments to help forecast, assess and manage capacity. You will continually seek to improve our workflow and establish the course of action for backlog scenarios.

Our ideal candidate is ready to architect a new role to proactively drive improvements in our creative production work cycles and to relieve designers from the day-to-day shifting in deliverables and priorities, along with asset and project management. You'll make an impact by:

• Overseeing, managing and optimizing creative processes that support high-velocity, high-volume content delivery

• Developing strategies for dealing with interruptions in content production

• Establishing schedules, allocate and assign creative resources against standardized workflows

• Managing project management tool for creative team members, including creating and assigning tasks, customizing and automating workflows, as well as creating filters, dashboards and regularly reporting

• Supporting content scoping, including requirements, dependencies and timelines for deliverables and identifying project roadblocks proactively

• Providing QA to ensure high-fidelity delivery

• Providing strategic and operational perspective, identifying any issues in and recommendations for department and/or workflow structures

• Understanding and supporting multiple aspects of production from digital, social, video, experiential, print content and more

• Actively collaborating with management to design, improve and implement internal processes and tools, as well as asset management

Experience / Skills Required:

• At least 5-8 years Project Management / Content Management experience (digital, video, print and interactive content)

• Extensive experience in a creative ops/content delivery role, ideally in a creative agency

• Strong project management skills with the ability to set structure and standards and to drive through change

• Excellent knowledge of issue tracking, Jira Work Management and/or other common project management systems, communication tools, along with web-based and social platforms

• Proven experience implementing new processes, workflows and systems; where appropriate, applying agile and product management methodologies to content workstreams

• Solid communication and negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude and creative thinking

• Understand the importance of communication, collaboration, and managing different personalities

• Organization, attention to detail, excellent intuition and analytical skills are essential
