What you'll do...
Manages freight flow by moving and loading freight manually and with powered equipment (for example, single and double pallet jack, lift, pacer); identifying, counting, separating, combining and scanning freight (utilizing warehouse management system terminal, scales and scanners); and maintaining records, logs and forms.
Keeping work area organized and maintaining freight flow by stacking empty pallets, and moving empty pallets using a pallet jack and/or powered equipment.
Monitoring freight to ensure cold-chain and species compliance.
Completes work assignments and priorities in the plant warehouse by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.
