Manufacturing Engineer

Identify improvement to existing manufacturing processes and equipment.

• Purchase of new/replacement manufacturing equipment.

• Completion of NCR's.

• Support root cause analysis.

Qualifications

Education:

• HND or equivalent in an engineering discipline and/or proven work experience in a similar role.

Experience:

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

• Experienced programming, setting and operating, Multi axis milling, turning and grinding machines.

• A good understanding of Heidenhain and Mazatrol controls would be advantageous, but not essential.

• Experienced in the use of inspection equipment.

Competencies:

• Good written and oral communication skills are required.

• Must be able to work independently and connect with all levels of the organisation.

• Computer literate - knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel an advantage - in order to produce reports, analyse data etc. optimally.
