Waters Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative Instrument Development team. This team is responsible for the development and support of Waters core Liquid Chromatography technologies such as Pump, AutoSampler, Detector, and Column Management modules.
In this role, the Mechanical Engineer will utilize their technical engineering knowledge while developing analytical instrumentation in a team orientated and collaborative environment.
The Mechanical Engineer will work within a team where there is opportunity to collaborate and mentor others. They will also work in a multifaceted engineering environment utilizing a wide breadth of Mechanical Engineering including the following: Mechanical Design, Analytical Analysis, Fluid Dynamics, Heat Transfer, Material Science, Optics, Automation, User Centered Interface Design, and Systems Engineering. They would also collaborate with Electrical, Software, Reliability, and Production Engineering teams to develop innovative products.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)
Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (desired)
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in related field with BSME only
2-5 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience
Proven Strong Analytical Skill and Hands on Skills
Ability to work in a hands-on environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Experience in mechatronics
Experience with Solid Works or Equivalent Tool
Experience with ANSYS or Equivalent Tool
Experience with Matlab / Python / or Equivalent Tool
