The Product Manager, within the QA/QC Business Segment, will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategy, defining the product roadmap, new product ideation, commercialization, life-cycle management, and sustaining activities for assigned LC product .
This is a highly visible, global role working on Waters industry leading and bestselling LC systems. This position will oversee all product management responsibilities for Waters Performance, Flexibility, and Specialty LC Solutions serving the biologics market. As such we’re looking for a talented product manager who shows attention to detail, the ability to comprehend and translate technical capabilities into benefits, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams across the QA/QC Business Segment. Also, as part of this role, we’re also looking for someone who wants to help further our commitment to making the world a better place by ensuring the sustainability of our products and to help protect the environment over their life cycle.
A highly motivated individual with strong business acumen as well as technical and market knowledge would be ideal for this position.
Good understanding of Waters products, specifically LC systems and
Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Effective collaboration & networking skills with an ability to influence cross-functional teams
Minimum BS degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, technology or related scientific or business discipline. Advanced degree is highly preferred
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a product management role with a proven ability to manage multiple projects with tight timelines
Familiarity with a phase-gate product development process and a basic financial analysis and opportunity assessment background
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%
