The territory covers Northern California with the exception of the San Francisco peninsula**.**
Responsibilities
Meet or exceed sales targets
Maintain and grow installed base customer happiness
Purposefully develop new prospects and penetrate competitive accounts
Visit customers and prospects every day to understand needs and challenges and highlight Waters solutions
Build technical proficiency on Waters solution and be perceived by customers as a valued business partner
Keep current on market dynamics, application trends, and competitive landscape
Become an active member of the local scientific community to understand customer needs and promote Waters solutions
Provide feedback to marketing team to build business development programs
Fully use sales contact management tools and applications
Submit accurate and timely monthly sales forecasts
Qualifications
Minimum of BS/BA in chemistry or a related subject area
At least 3+ years LC and/or LC/MS experience.
Practical sales experience is an advantage
Committed and hard-working for results
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Excellent organization / planning / time management skills
Strong communication skills and a good listener
Mature disposition, positive demeanour and strong sense of dedication
Adaptive to dynamic and changing environment
The general base pay for this position ranges from $87,000-$116,000 per year. Pay is based on several factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experence #LI-Remote
