West Monroe has an immediate opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our Shared Services function and execute corporate communications for the firm. This individual will be responsible for creating and driving communications in support of the firm’s operational initiatives, strategic goals, and other firmwide priorities. They will partner with and consult with Shared Services functional leads and executive and practice leadership in communications strategy and messaging, ultimately driving engagement and helping influence communications outcomes.

Specific key responsibilities include:

  • Create, manage, implement, and own communications strategy and plans for internal initiatives, rollouts, and operational announcements (e.g., technology platform launches, organizational announcements, internal policy updates, and more)

  • Develop a deep understanding of our business and employee base and the ability to target specific segments with messages that spark them to action

  • Partner with Shared Services functional leadership to create clear, consistent employee messaging that is cohesive across all internal functions to create a unified employee experience

  • Help provide timely and concise communication to employees around a variety of topics

  • Serve as the corporate communications functional liaison and SME for a variety of internal partners, including but not limited to Finance/Accounting, Marketing, Legal, Operations, HR, and more

  • Support communications and change management for internal acquisitions though comms plans, executive messaging, and content creation

  • Identify new channels and innovations to communicate with employees (e.g., platforms, technologies, messaging enhancements)

  • Create and execute communications plans that are aligned with the firm’s strategy

  • Regularly draft communications plan deliverables, such as email messaging, FAQs, resource guides, and content for visual signage

  • Work with vendors to create and manage aspects of internal communication campaigns

  • Provide and support consultants and Shared Services support staff on a range of ad-hoc issues and projects

  • Create branding around internal initiatives

  • Support corporate communications organizational growth, including expansion of firmwide scope into local office and practice communications support

  • Work with the IT audio/visual team to drive and manage the AV aspects of firmwide town halls and other large meetings

  • Support design, creation, and execution of annual leadership conferences and events

Desired Skills

  • Undergraduate degree
  • At least 5+ years of experience in a corporate communications role, ideally in a professional services environment
  • Strong project management skills, and the ability to execute programs with speed, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Outstanding influencing and interpersonal skills and a track record of working effectively and forming peer-level relationships with senior members of an organization
  • Ability to work with a variety of internal partners and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work and manage projects autonomously
  • Exceptional writing skills, and, in particular, the ability to write in different styles to reflect the nature of the stakeholder, audience, and message
  • Experience with current web practices, supporting technologies, new media
  • Experience with SharePoint, Expertise within Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Sway, Outlook, Viva)
  • Flexibility to travel nationally, 5-10% of the year
