WD Global Operations is responsible for the timely deployment and ramp-up of cutting-edge Flash Memory technologies. Supply Chain Planning organization, a critical part of Global Operations, is responsible for ensuring availability of sufficient material supply and manufacturing capacity to help position the right inventory to best satisfy WD's Customer needs, Financial goals and commitments.
The Supply Chain organization is looking for a Manager, Industrial Engineering to lead a high-performing team of Operations Research and Industrial Engineers.
This is a high-visibility and cross-functional role with exposure to the inner workings of WD’s world-class supply chain. As part of leading this team, the candidate will have exposure to –
The ideal candidate demonstrates a deep passion for working with supply chain and inventory models. The ability to work with large datasets, understand and build inventory simulation and projection models are key attributes that would allow a candidate to be successful in this role.
Responsibilities:
Master's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Analytics, Business Administration or related field required
3+ years of experience and/or PhD in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Statistics or related field preferred
