Job Description

5+ years’ experience of Storage QA testing with HDD/SSDs, firmware and storage subsystems Excellent knowledge on Manual/Automated testing with storage background

In-depth working knowledge of SAS, SCSI, PCIe protocols 

Working knowledge on HDD/SSD/NVMe and debugging skills is a plus. 

Understand Hardware and Software interaction 

Working knowledge on SAS analyzers is a plus. 

Install and configure various hardware and software components 

Perform bug verification and drive issues to resolution 

Ability to write Python scripts for automated tests and contribute towards automation framework White box testing knowledge is a plus 

Knowledge Performance Bench Marking tests is a plus 

Solid working knowledge of operating systems: Windows / Linux including trouble shooting issues/problems with those systems 

Work with cross functional teams like Firmware Development, Test Dev, Customer Champions etc 

Assist in customer escalations 

Understand Software development Life Cycle 

Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills 

Ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment 

Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines 

Self-motivated and Self-driven

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electrical engineering

Work Experience:

• Should has work experience minimum of 5+ years in Storage/Semiconductor Domain Testing.

Preferred:

• Exposure to the Agile Development Methodology
• Strong problem-solving/debugging skills.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Motivated, self-directed and able to work effectively both independently and in a team.
