Job Description

• Assist the Technical Program Manager (PM) and Engineering Program Manager (EPM) in their daily duties relating to Program cost and materials usage.
• Help in the creation and tracking of the Bill of Materials for multiple Programs at one time. Programs will result in millions of units being shipped to customers.
• Be able to challenge vendor quotes/proposals and costs and delivery timelines.
• Helps and assists in the monitoring of the overall department’s annual budget and spending.

Qualifications

• Exposure to an engineering development environment.
• Knowledge of products containing various disciplines of engineering components.
• Exposure to and understanding of the following technical areas: Process Testing, Design for Manufacturing & Assembly; Firmware, Closed-Loop Servo Systems, Mechanics, Read Channel, Recording Subsystems, and failure analysis.
• Exposure to project costing and Bill of Materials creation and tracking very helpful.
