    West Monroe is currently seeking a high-performance Productivity Manager to join our growing Operations Excellence Practice. West Monroe’s Operations Excellence practice is focused on driving value from strategy through execution—not merely pointing to best practices and standards. We enable clients to realize the enduring benefits of IT, business, process and organizational optimization by delivering real, sustainable adoption. Our solutions focus on value creation through the lenses of people, process, and technology across functional transformation and related platforms, productivity, and transformation enablement. Each consultant within our Operations Excellence practice is aligned to one of six focus areas including Financial Management, Organizational Change Management, Portfolio & Program Management, Supply Chain Management, Productivity, and IT Strategy & Business Process Outsourcing.

    We are seeking candidates with 6-10 years of experience providing productivity solutions in support of large-scale process/technology projects and/or other transformational initiatives. Candidates should also have experience in helping to develop and enhance supporting methodologies and tool sets, as well as integrating these with other consulting solutions (e.g., technology- and industry-focused practices). Prospective candidates should demonstrate proficient skills and experience in the implementation of Lean, workflow analysis, process improvements, engineered standards development, and productivity improvements initiatives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Project Management – lead projects on time, within budget & scope, and to customer’s satisfaction
    • Define business needs and requirements and translate into concrete project plans and detailed client proposals
    • Mentor and lead teams of consultants executing client projects and perform the technical QA of work done by the team
    • Communicate and report project status to client executives including budget, risks, issues, etc. while quickly responding to requests as needed
    • Manage project economics including: track project budgets, create and deliver invoices, and manage collection process
    • Contribute to identification of opportunities and quantify value-added process improvement opportunities for existing or new clients
    • Participate in and support the national team in development and enhancements to the Productivity methodologies, tools, and other collateral
    • Actively participate in thought leadership activities such as blogs, white papers, and other related efforts
    • Collaborate with local office leadership to define how to align practice with office strategy and other practices
    • Coach and manage other consultants and actively participate in the performance expectation process
    • Actively participate in recruiting and retaining top quality consultants
    • Actively build a professional network and affiliate network in the local community

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering, engineering management, communications, organization behavior, organization development or similar fields. 
    • 6-10 years of experience providing productivity solutions in support of large-scale process/technology projects and/or other transformational initiatives.
    • Experience in implementing areas such as process improvement, lean, workflow analysis, engineered standards development, and other productivity related initiatives.
    • Prior consulting experience is preferred.
    • Must have experience in developing work plans, project scopes, pricing estimates, and presentations to assist in selling work to clients.
    • Strong project management methodology background, including schedule, scope, issue and risk management experience
    • Demonstrated success within one or more of West Monroe Partners’ core industries including Consumer & Industrial Products, Energy & Utilities, Healthcare & Life Sciences, High Tech & Software, Financial Services, Private Equity and/or Retail
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to travel.

    Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices (see table below). Information on our competitive total rewards package, including our bonus structure and benefits is here. Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.

    Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, purchase shares from our employee stock ownership program and be eligible to receive annual bonuses. Employees will also receive unlimited flexible time off and ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Ten weeks of paid parental leave will also be available for use after successful completion of one year of employment.
