    Position Summary

We are currently looking for a mid-level intellectual property litigation associate with a background in electrical engineering or computer science to join our Silicon Valley, Washington DC, New York, Boston, Chicago, Miami, Houston, or Los Angeles office.

In addition to excellent academic credentials, you should have a good basic grasp and experience in the areas pertinent to our work. To thrive in this complex and highly specialized field, you will also need to be a quick learner, open to new areas of knowledge and comfortable with on-the-job training.

Combining a keen eye for detail with an ability to see the bigger picture, you should possess excellent research and drafting skills, and both the analytical rigor and creative flair required to translate large volumes of information into original legal arguments. You will need to demonstrate focus, tenacity, and a genuine enthusiasm for the challenges of our work.

A strong team player, you should also be independent and self-motivated; excited by the opportunities for learning and professional development, and eager to take on responsibility whenever possible.

    Our Practice Area

Many of the world's leading pharmaceutical, internet and technology companies, including major multinational corporations, turn to us for their most important intellectual property needs. From bet-the-company litigation to ground-breaking, cross-border transactions, the intellectual property lawyers in our global network offer our clients decades of experience, combined with in-depth legal expertise across a broad spectrum of technology sectors.

As an associate joining our practice, you will find yourself in a collegial working environment where partners are friendly and accessible and your colleagues always supportive and open to questions. A relatively non-hierarchical practice with a strong commitment to professional development, we believe in giving everyone a voice, and in giving associates significant responsibility at a relatively early stage of their careers.

Our IP attorneys partner with clients, providing practical solutions and counseling for their most complex issues. They routinely litigate high-stakes cases for some of the world's most preeminent global technology companies in their most important disputes. Our litigators have represented clients in matters before the USPTO, federal and state courts, as well as the International Trade Commission.
The work can be demanding, but is always rewarding-both in terms of the satisfaction of contributing to your team's success, and of supporting pioneering companies engaged in high-profile, high-stakes disputes that have a lasting impact on people's lives.
