Job Description

  • Work with the Service management lead and service delivery teams in defining the change management process and ensuring it is aligned with customer IT Service Management tool and processes
  • Drives continuous improvement and innovation into and throughout the change and release process
  • Execute the defined change management process in a consistent and controlled manner
  • Lead or actively participate in governance forums that present change requests for approval ensuring they are accurate, gaining approval to proceed with the scope of work including priority of the change against existing/outstanding approved change requests
  • Coordinate changes required to address identified incidents and problems
  • Assess proposed changes to ensure no conflicting configuration items exist and a back-up plan is in place.
  • Understands Technical Environments, develops entry, exit criteria for releases, and understands the impacts of deploying solutions
  • Validate that any potential disruptions associated to the release have been communicated to the appropriate impacted stakeholders
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

Release Manager with strong background on managing application related releases working closely with development teams and customer IT/business stakeholders, exposure to Dev Ops would be an advantage, also good understanding of ITIL processes and ServiceNow exposure.

Location: Sydney, Australia

Location is not a constraint here, willing to consider all states including QLD, NSW, SA, ACT, WA, if the candidate is willing to relocate.
