Position summary

Digital Platform Manager

The Digital Platform Manager will be part of the team managing WWE’s digital content including WWE’s YouTube channel with 88 million subscribers. The role will be expected to have a deep understanding of the YouTube ecosystem, how distribution and monetization works on the platform, and how rights are managed and monetized via owned and UGC content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the YouTube publishing calendar and team to schedule videos for optimal viewership and monetization

  • Oversee staff schedules and on-call assignments

  • Support Content Protection efforts - Content Id and Claiming Management to protect WWE’s IP

  • Publish and curate content daily

  • Plan and execute YT Community Tab & YT Shorts posts

  • Gather and analyze data and trends

  • Work independently during show coverage

  • Carry out on-call duties

  • Assist with actions across additional digital platforms

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of related experience

  • YouTube CMS background preferred

  • Experience within Facebook rights manager ideal but not required

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • The candidate should be comfortable working within tight deadlines, must be able to multitask and demonstrate excellent time management

  • Sense of social video content and popular trends

  • Able to work evenings and/or weekends

  • Working knowledge of WWE TV shows, talent, and storylines a plus

  • Strong writing skills and the ability to perform generic copy/grammar review 

  • Certification by YouTube, a strong plus
