    Position summary

    Media Services Technician (Temp)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist with management and archive of WWE video, Audio and GFX assets
    • Provide service and support to WWE Production department for Media Service requests
    • Transfer and Transcode media to various destinations
    • Deliver media management services including storage management, media restores, and project management as needed
    • Transcode and move OTT Network deliverables in a timely manner
    • Support and assist Media Managers in their daily responsibilities
    • Troubleshooting digital archive restores and transcode requests
    • Submit and monitor GFX and Audio archival restore requests
    • Maintain open line of communication between Archive, Production and Media Services departments
    • Assist with medium-term metadata attachment project for media library assets
    • Provide technical assistance for Avid editors and production staff
    • Manage, service and troubleshoot shared Avid environment, Kumulate and other ancillary applications
    • Establish collaborative relationships with WWE technical support personnel to ensure post-production systems are operating properly

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 2 years media asset management experience
    • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
    • Impeccable multitasking ability and ability to work independently
    • Able to function well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
    • Detail oriented, can quickly identify and properly handle issues
    • Team player who is willing to pitch in wherever help is needed
    • Avid and other non-linear editing platform experience required
    • Knowledge of Transcoding solutions, codecs, file wrappers and framerate conversions
    • Bachelor degree preferred
    • Must be willing to regularly work nights, weekends and holidays; accessible during off hours
    • Proficiency in MS office and G-Suite a plus
