Position summary

Associate Director Robotics Marketing EMEA

One significant part of ZBEdge is ROSA, a robotic-assisted surgery solution platform.

For the commercialization of ROSA, Zimmer Biomet is looking for an Associate Director, responsible for the commercialization of the ROSA Robotic platform in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, reporting to the Marketing Director TDS EMEA. The person will be developing, refining and executing the marketing strategy in cooperating with country marketing, sales, the Commercial Leaders of the country sales organizations and the Global Technology & Data team based in the U.S. The role has direct reports.

Job requirements
  • Develops and coordinates the execution of marketing strategies and tactics with local markets (P-Mix, Sales Training, Tools & Materials)
  • Provide sales force with strategy and knowledge to ensure commercialization in excellence
  • Contributes to the achievement of financial targets
  • Enables market & customer development
  • Drives and executes insights and strategies to improve customer experience journey
  • Drives market insights and represent EMEA market requirements to Global Product Management
  • Develops and manages assigned budgets to execute marketing strategies and tactics
  • Develops and executes new ROSA application launch plans
  • Assist in the preparation of market models and strategic plan
  • Creates competitive insights and maintains market intelligence for orthopedic robotic applications
  • Leads individuals of Robotic Marketing professionals 
Education / Experience Requirements
  • Master’s degree (Preferred: in engineering or business administration).
  • 10 years of commercial/downstream marketing experience within Health Care (required), out of which at least 3 years in robotic technologies (preferred)
  • Experience in management of new product introduction and growth strategies, particularly in the area of medtech technologies
  • Demonstrates strong customer centric behavior and a growth mind-set to achieve ambitious results
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in written from with a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to influence others, strong organizational skills, handle increasing levels of responsibility
  • Convincing presentation skills
  • Energizes all levels of the organization to deliver on business goals and objectives
  • Demonstrates characteristics of high potential for future development opportunities
  • Demonstration of strong business acumen, market and sales and selling proces
  • Experience working with traditional marketing concepts, marketing strategies, product promotion, market analysis, and forecasting
  • Fluent in English, preferred: German. Any other major language is a plus
  • Experience in management of new product introduction
  • Strong analytical & project management capabilities
  • Strong emotional intelligence to win hearts and minds of individuals and teams  
Travel Requirements

This dynamic job position requires a willingness to travel (approximately 20%)
