Position summary
Job Summary
The Demand Analyst liaises with the Demand Planners to ensure that variations between demand plan and actuals are highlighted and reviewed by the Demand Planners with their Commercial Partners in the commercial regions.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with appropriate partners to support them in making timely decisions which result in suggestions for demand changes in the 0-24 planning horizon
- Provide standard content to the Demand Planners for Demand Insights, Demand Monitoring, Enrichment and Demand Review meetings
- Provide analytics in line with the monthly demand process requirements
- Measure demand process performance and trends related and communicate the results to Demand Planners
- Identify and resolve abnormal demand orders as they are entered in the system
- Monitor forecast consumption and roll logic and regularly review if the logic is adapted to business needs
- Monitor ATP (Available to Promise) process/logic and regularly review if the process/logic is adapted to business needs
Expected Areas of Competence
- Demonstrated ability creating analytical reports and presentations detecting shifts in ordering patterns and forecast consumption abnormalities
- Full understanding of the end to end Supply Chain and the impacts each area has on another
- Excellent interpersonal skill required
Education/Experience Requirements
- Preferably 1 to 3 years of experience in demand planning environment
- Preferred BS or BA degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or related discipline
