Position summary

Job Summary

Coordinates, manages, and ensures learning quality and standards are met in the department by managing the continuous learning application, iLearn LMS, and WebEx events by supporting the strategy for the tools, content, and delivery, organizing learning approaches, working with key stakeholders to deliver training for all programs, events, and learning experiences. The role also supports developing and reviewing online training courses and content where indicated, quality assurance, and testing courses and content where indicated.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Technology Coordination
• Manage vendor relationships
• iLearn (LMS) administrator to support the tool
• Loop Strategy and Administration - Coordinate and administer the Loop application supporting the strategy with the production team, ensure strong user experience design, innovate to support department needs, training internal and external staff on the system, and manage users, content, reports, troubleshooting, create assignments and support application needs with capabilities.

• WebEx Courses
• Provides a scope of WebEx events and works with internal teams to design approach • Becomes a WebEx administrator to support any WebEx events
• Supports all live WebEx events

• Course Development
• Assists the instructional design team in support course design/development based on learning experience plans or storyboards.
• Supports instructional design team with Microsoft PowerPoint creation.
• Design interactions founded in learning principles to instructional solutions for adult learners
• Creation of e-learning templates to be utilized by the Instructional Design team

• QA and Testing
• Supports the production team by reviewing and conducting quality assurance and testing on all digital and non-digital learning content.

Expected Areas of Competence

• Proven history of supporting technology solutions or tools.
• Comfortable speaking effectively in front of groups
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Commitment to customer service and team-oriented management
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to interpret client needs and produce deliverables with a solution approach
• Ability to manage and meet deadlines
• Must be enterprising, diplomatic, and proactive at solving problems

Education/Experience Requirements

• Online training course design and development using Articulate Storyline or Rise
• Adobe Suite or equivalent
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Proven history of excellent writing and communication skills
• 1 or more years of online, mobile or blended learning are strongly preferred.
• Must have competency in: Microsoft Office, course and curriculum development with outlines and storyboards that meet traditional classroom, print, digital, mobile, web, and online training tied to a Learning Management System (LMS with SCORM), Social Media applications, and/or continuous learning environments.
