Position summary

One significant part of ZBEdge is to foster a network of leading KOLs and customer ambassadors who act as thought leaders in the digital transformation in orthopedic care.

In support of the ZBEdge growth plan, Zimmer Biomet is looking for a Marketing Manager Customer Engagement, responsible for the ZBEdge Customer Network, reporting to the Sr Marketing Manager TDS ZBEdge Platform EMEA.

The person will be developing and implementing a ZBEdge Customer Engagement strategy in cooperating with EMEA marketing, ZBEdge Sales, country marketing, sales and the Global Technology & Data team based in the U.S.

General Functions
  • Develops and implements a comprehensive ZBEdge Customer Network with leading and future thought leaders in EMEA.
  • Implements and maintains ZBEdge Reference Center strategy.
  • Creates customer intimacy and insights and develops growth and product development opportunities through advisory panels, surveys.
  • Acts as single point of contact for all ZBEdge related exhibitions and sponsorships.
  • Collaborates with Zimmer Biomet’s Institute to develop ZBEdge Medical Education strategy and plan.
  • Develops and manages assigned budgets to execute marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Maintain close customer contact, attends congresses, support commercial customer events.
Education
  • Master’s degree (Preferred: in engineering or business administration).
Special expertise
  • 6 years of commercial/downstream marketing experience within MedTech (required) / Orthopedics (preferred), out of which at least 3 years in a customer facing role (preferred).
  • Experience in strategic customer management / CRM.
  • Proven track record of working with Orthopedics customers across EMEA.
  • Experience in new product introduction and growth strategies, particularly in the area of medtech technologies (preferred).
  • Experience within digital/data product offering, orthopedic industry and/or knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience in developing and translating customer insights into growth strategies and marketing campaigns is a plus.
  • Demonstrates strong customer centric behavior and a growth mind-set to achieve ambitious results.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in written from with a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to influence others, strong organizational skills, handle increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Convincing presentation skills.
  • Demonstrates strong customer centricity paired with a strong business acumen.
  • Strong emotional intelligence to win hearts and minds of customers.
Language
  • Fluent and professional in English. Any other major language is a plus.

  • Hands-on and can-do mentality, enjoys working in a team, but can also work autonomously and remotely as an individual.
  • Proactive problem-solving ability, ability to develop and implement creative and comprehensive solutions.
  • Ability to listen, capture key insights from the customers and internal stakeholders and influence and lead effectively and remain focused on key tasks in a multidimensional organization.
  • Collaboration & teaming – forms & contributes to high-performing teams, drives positive collaboration across functional boundaries without line authority.
  • Solution creation – able to break-down and articulate complex issues (whether product or process related) for different target audiences. Project management skills is a must.
