The LQR Manager reports to General Manager and main responsibility is to manage the subsidiary's Value Supply Chain. In addition, the LQR supervises quality & regulatory activities. Management and audit of the subsidiary's Supply Chain and Physical Distribution Functions in Support all business endeavors. Responsibility and authority (irrespective of other responsibilities) to ensure that all aspects of ISO 13485, ISO 9001 and Zimmer's Quality Policies are adhered to.
Establish / maintain QMS according to ISO standard, the applicable Zimmer Policies and Procedures, the requirements of MOH medical devices directives, any other quality system standards deemed appropriate by the corporate QA/RA functions.
Establish a Quality Manual for the subsidiary in the local language based on HQ standard and in compliance with Document Management System.
Assist Top Management in the communication of all aspects related to QMS.
Lead the establishment of local Quality Policy, Quality Plan and Quality Objectives.
Advise Top Management on the requirement for resources regarding QRL.
Analyze report and manage the supply chain through timely units forecasting, procurement and progress disciplines, with specific attention to order point levels.
Administer internal audit program & Assures implementation of required corrective and preventive actions
Interacts with authorities on behalf of Zimmer Dental Israel in Regulatory Compliance / Quality Assurance issues.
Ensure that the business unit complies with all local regulatory and quality requirements.
Manage Medical Device Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs and Regulatory Compliance.
Ensures that documents and records are managed according to standard, policy and procedure
Overseeing complaint reporting and ensuring that adverse incidents are handled in a timely fashion.
Analyze and report the key indicators vs. target (specifically inventory levels, days on hand and obsolescence).
Link with, and provide optimal service to the internal customer base within Service, Marketing, Sales and Finance.
Link with external providers in the implant Global Supply Chain; and to provide and elicit such information and statistics to optimize inventory and assets.
Lead inventory rationalization and productivity initiatives within a ' no backorders ' environment.
Understand the product, new business needs and liaise with every level of the company.
Work with management to identify opportunities within the local Zimmer markets.
Coordination of Monthly Forecast, planning and replenishment cycles.
Preparation and analysis for the monthly obsolescence.
Maintenance of the DRP master files and from a Logistics view point.
Redeployment of Inventories levels, to meet inventory days on hand (DOH) and cash flow targets.
Management of Special Projects impacting cross department and business activities.
Coordinate all local activities required to direct or control the organization with respect to quality.
Provide and facilitate competence and awareness training as determined by management review, policy and procedure.
Monitor all consignment inventories to ensure either maximum utilization or the recommendation for achieving this. Prepare business case analysis for all new consignment accounts and recorded properly
Within reason safety stock levels should not fall below 5 weeks. To achieve this demand cycles need to be monitored managed systematically.
Knowledge of applicable ISO Standards, Medical Device Directive, other relevant directives, Vigilance Reporting and other regulations or standards applicable to medical devices.
Fluent in English both verbal and in written materials
Ability to assemble good quality documentation for tenders, reimbursement or other related applications
Capable of interacting with Authorities
Knowledge / background in dental medical devices an advantage
Management experience with strong interpersonal skills with excellence in written and verbal communication
Strong sense of initiative, follow-through and attention to detail
Ability to function independently without extensive oversight and extensive local quality organization
Strong information management capabilities, computer literate including proficient in Excel and Word, internet savvy
Excellent communication skills with ability to present regulatory subject matter in an interesting and motivating way
Experience in dealing with people at all levels
