Position summary

g alternatives to drive efficiencies via benchmarking, competitive quotes, and engineering changesNegotiate the cost and other terms and conditions of such purchases by collaborating with the stakeholders and legal team

  • Ensure a smooth procure-to-pay process by working with the stakeholders and finance team

  • Own all central reporting and planning processes that will help the team scale such as Project Tracker, Quarterly Indirect Review Updates, Category Planning, Market Intelligence, Spend Dashboards, etc.

  • Provide ad-hoc analytical support to Managers or Senior SSMs based on prioritization when large procurement or process efforts are not sufficiently resourced (ie similar to battery testing RFP conducted during internship)

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 4+ years of experience in procurement, program management, or business development in a technology-related industry

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Strategic sourcing, financial and business opportunity analysis, comfort with legal frameworks and contract negotiation skills

  • Microsoft Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience procuring IT, Software, Hardware, Marketing, Professional Service, and Hardware Design Development & Testing Services highly desirable

  • Experience working in a fast-paced and evolving environment

  • Experience in contract drafting, redlining, and working cross-functionally with legal

  • Process improvement skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment to achieve business objectives

  • Open-minded self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise, and problem-solve

  • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects with various stakeholders

  • Organizational skills to manage and track transactional details

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders

  • Superior analytical skills

There are three major components to compensation for this position: pay, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The pay range for this position is $127,000 to $182,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The pay range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
