Senior Technical Product Manager

SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER (TECHNICAL)

We seek an experienced Senior Technical Product Manager to join our team. This person will work closely with the corresponding business and practice area leads, leaders in the Software Development group and with our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ZS's big data and analytics platform comprising of data management, AI/ML algorithms cs service, data lake offerings
• Responsible for cross product integration including external upstream and downstream systems such as Veeva/SFDC (CRM), Workday (HR System) and MDM solutions
• Own common data management, analytics and cross product integration roadmap and requirements
• Drive Product Vision and Strategy while maintaining 'Big Picture' focus; balancing business needs with technology assessments & recommending alternative approaches to meet business requirements
• Align synergies across organization for better planning, alignment and road mapping, and business growth. Demonstrate close association with all verticals, specifically development team
• Work with architects and senior engineers and understand the platform components and how to update them
• Review key building blocks and suggest innovative solutions to optimize performance, scale and maintenance
• Evaluate the market for emerging technology trends and technology stacks for the domain and space
• Understand the requirements for the applications to be implemented and work with the professional services teams to ensure product architecture supports that easily for new implementations as well as migrations
• Work with client teams, customers, UX and Product Management to understand business requirements and customer pain points
• Perform low level research to break down high level business requirements into written detailed requirements consumable by engineering teams
• Participate in scrum meetings to provide clarity on requirements and acceptance criteria at requirement level
• Ramp up on products to understand the requirements in context of products
• Conduct requirements review sessions
• Articulate the requirements with help of Visio diagrams where makes sense
• Manage and track requirements change requests
• Work with client teams to get an agreement on scope of changes and enhancements to existing products
• Must be able to explain design decisions to peers and articulate the advantages and risks of decisions to senior managers. This is a hands-on position requiring analyst skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business or a technology discipline
• 10+ years of combined experience in software engineering, architecture and technical product management with hands on coding and architecture experience needed
• Experience in big data and analytics space, machine learning, artificial intelligence
• Experience in cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Relevant technical knowledge of Enterprise Data Integration or Enterprise Application Integration software products including defining data contracts level requirements for API based integration
• Experience in integrating at least one or more ETL tools, CRM, HR systems and MDM systems with enterprise grade products
• Experience working with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and deep working knowledge of APIs
• Experience in working directly with customer's IT group to elicit the data management, analytics and integration requirements
• Experience in defining roadmap and highly technical requirements/user stories in agile environment
• Ability to speak technical language with architects and software engineering team to convert business requirement into detailed technical requirements
• Experience in working with cross-functional team comprising of development, UX, professional services team and leading small team of product managers
• Experience with cloud and big data technologies is a plus
• Outward Centric - managing expectation while measuring KPIs and iterating accordingly. Stressing on Customer Feedback, Market Research and Usability Studies
• Technology enthusiast with inclination towards conceptualizing, POCs, experimenting
• Understanding of Technical Concepts like Databases, Product Architecture - Monolithic vs Microservices, Python, Integration, ETL etc.
