This is still a software company with an "old boy" mentality. Women are making inroads, but it is slow. Women with experience with the company and industry are not sought out for input into decisions and it is hard to make people listen when decisions are not based on the customer base at times. There are some managers who will follow policy without thought of the employee or the issues being handled by women that could affect their work/life balance.
