global procurement Job Reviews
Women who work in global procurement departments have an overall job satisfaction level of 4, 100% of them believe there is gender equality in their firms, and make an average salary range of $80k-$100k.
I've worked here for 2.5 years. The amount of women present in various roles, functions, & levels is quite remarkable. Maybe it helps since the CEO is a woman, which is absolutely great! I've just come back from maternity leave; I took 12 wks off (6 paid). So far the transition back to work has been smooth. Only downfall is that my manager doesn't respect the time I have blocked for pumping.
I've been here for over a decade and seen the industry go from booming to shrinking. Benefits have shrunk accordingly, 401K matching is now paid quarterly and if you leave mid-quarter, you forfeit the match for that period, internal awards have practically disappeared, transitioning to different roles/departments is not easy despite earning post-graduate degrees in those areas. You really need to work your network to have an effect and move up.
