Be careful going on maternity leave, I'm a top performer, but after coming back from mat leave I felt like my career had taken a huge hit and I had to prove myself all over again.

They just upped it to 16 weeks, which is incredible, one of their best benefits, but taking it will hurt you.

There are work from home opportunities, but you're still expected to be tethered to your desk. They care a lot about the specific times you're at your desk and less about what you've gotten done.

While I believe there is a good work-life balance, more men hold positions of leadership and there could be an improvement of gender and racial equity.

If you desire to advance in your career, don't make waves. There are positivie aspects such as attitude toward LGBT community and an improved attitude toward culturally diverse work force. Having said that, again a lot depends on which city and department the woman works / is seeking employment in.

  • Recommend to Women?

Maybe. It depends on the position the woman is going after. The pay and benefits are relatively good. However, in terms of advancement opportunities, it depends on department culture.

  • One Thing Employer Could Improve

Nothing at this point as I have resigned.

Great place to work if you're in it for the slow and steady... Nothing happens quickly and management is constantly changing. However, maternity leave is 12 weeks paid and flexible work schedules and work from home are very common.l, making it extremely family friendly.

Very political. You were only as good as the last good thing you did. Lots of grudgeholding, no room for error. If the exec didn't like you, you could save their kid from a burning building, they didn't care.
