Don't work as a contractor. They are interested in the bottom line and not individual career goals. After a contract ends, that's the end of the relationship since you are not of value to them any longer.

They hold my contract, but my flexibility is determined by their client.
  • One Thing Employer Could Improve

It is no better than working for any other contracting company. They lease employees as they would lease office equipment.

Several women I know are not paid fairly compared to peers, partially due to the company being sold and bought a few times before landing with TreeHouse Foods. We have some perks such as being able to work from home at least 1 day per week in most jobs and also having many managers who are flexible with time off, adjusting hours, etc.

We have the minimum required leave and it is paid unlike some other companies. I don't feel that this is enough time to spend with your baby before going back to work.

In IT the management team is split fairly evenly. I don't think women are treated differently professionally. However many of the contractors and developers are male which creates a bit of a men's club feel socially.

Maybe. I think your experience will depend largely on which department and even which team you are on.
