I think this company wants to do right by women, but the actions they are taking are superficial and have a minimum impact on the day to day experience of being in a male dominated company/industry. How about longer term paid leave for both genders? How about training all employees to understand their natural biases against women so they can check the ridiculous assumptions about the women around them. In my department, it feels like it is a boys club, and my presence makes things awkward.
