Overall, women are supported by the company's policies. However, there are some managers not familiar with the policies and foster a "bro culture". In my department, most of the leadership is men, which results in an imbalance of women contributing a level that can implement change.

Run away as fast as you can! the only goal of this company is to line the executives pockets. They screw everyone else over to do so

That it is not an awful place to work depending on management. Once management shifted the quality of work culture and environment plummeted.

It all depends on the manager you have. My manager was a fantastic mentor, but I know other women who did not speak highly of their managers

I've been with the company for 11 years. I feel like there is a path for advancement for some women (and men) but it seems as if there is some unspoken "list" of the chosen. I've been identified to be on a technical path but it doesn't appear to be leading anywhere. One thing I've noticed is that if you are good at your job and it would a job difficult to replace or train, managers are not interested in seeing you advance or move on. I don't feel like any time has been spent on my career development.

Maybe. I think I'm able to have a nice work / life balance; however, I don't feel like I have a career. I have a pretty good paying job that affords me a nice life; however, if I had higher career aspirations, I'm in the wrong position.
