Madhura DasGupta Sinha worked in banking for over 25 years before starting the start up of her professional dreams at the age of 50.
"I was worried whether I would be able to live the start-up life (with limited resources) at 50," she told Fairygodboss. "But I realized — life begins at 50!"
The start up in question — her passion project turned mighty organization — is called Aspire For Her. It's mission? To motivate young women to enter and stay in the workforce.
"We are all trying to build something new and trying to change the diversity equation of our country, India," she said. "Our members, mentors, ambassadors, partners and supporters are all driven by the intrinsic motivation to change the trajectory for women... It is not just a company, but a movement!"
Recently, Madhura shared more about her journey to founder, how she keeps her professional life running and how she makes time to relax. She also shared more about Aspire For Her's important mission — and how she and her partners are working to achieve it.
