We're looking for a talented Workday Reporting Analyst who can roll up their sleeves and get things done in a fast-paced environment. In this role you will work directly with our Manager of Data Analytics and our Director of HRIS to manage the build and maintenance of reports and dashboards for our HR systems, identify and resolve issues, and support cross-functional projects. This is an ideal role for a highly technical professional who takes initiative and wants to be part of a collaborative and ever-evolving team supporting a fast-growing company.

A day in the life...

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Workday reports and dashboards of varying complexity to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

  • Audit, review, and enhance reports and dashboards for accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with evolving business needs and stakeholder feedback.

  • Configure advanced calculated fields and advise the team on field usage to ensure consistency and alignment.

  • Support compliance reporting, audits, and troubleshooting data discrepancies to maintain data integrity and meet regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee report scheduled processes to streamline operations, enhance data accessibility, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining relevance and data security.

  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive report catalog, ensuring reports are properly categorized with clear descriptions, empowering self-service, and minimizing ad-hoc requests.

  • Implement a standardized approach for naming conventions, tags, descriptions, and report descriptions to enhance accessibility, ensure consistency in reporting practices, and enhance report accessibility for self-service.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs.

  • Offer guidance on report-related inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing training as needed to enhance user self-sufficiency and proficiency in reporting tools and to support self-service reporting and improve data literacy across the organization.

  • Provide support and guidance on security-related issues to the broader team

What we are looking for...

  • 3+ years of experience as a Workday Report Writer, with proficiency in developing advanced reports and calculated fields.

  • Bachelor's degree in HRIS, IT/IS, MIS or equivalent combination of education/experience.

  • Experience with the Workday object-oriented data model, creating/maintaining calculated fields, and developing complex Custom Reports/Dashboards. Experience with functionality such as Prism, BIRT, Extend, and discovery boards is a plus.

  • Broad understanding of the Workday platform (business objects, organizations, tenant setup, etc.).

  • Understanding of data governance and policies as it relates to Workday and downstream systems.

  • Strong understanding of Workday Security protocols, roles, models, and domain security impacts related to reporting.

  • Effective communicator with a customer service-oriented approach, capable of delivering technical updates to non-technical team members, stakeholders, and partners.

  • Proven problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.

  • Workday Certified Report Writer highly preferred.

  • Experience working across multiple facets of HR (e.g., Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent) is desirable.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.

  • You're multi-tasking: You've demonstrated the ability to balance and manage multiple shifting priorities with accuracy, efficiency, and in a timely manner.
